Chalini Jayasekera, PsyD

My name is Chalini Jayasekera and I am a clinical psychologist. I was born and raised in Massachusetts and recieved my Bachelors and Masters in Psychology from Lesley University in Cambridge. While working on my Masters, I interned at a private organization that focused on helping children and adolescents with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and various social-emotional difficulties, develop their social skills. After graduating, I  realized I wanted to further my understanding of how to help individuals who were struggling with mental health difficulties. This led me to pursue my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at William James College.

During my doctoral program, I worked in three unique settings, including a public school, an hospital outpatient unit, and a community mental health center. These settings allowed me to diversify my experience and work with people across the lifespan, in various different modalities. After receiving my doctorate, I completed my Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Brookline Community Mental Health Center.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, trying new restaurants, and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.
